On the other hand, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz starrer flick ‘Knight and Day’ attracted good audience’s response at the box office. Of the above two bollywood movies, ‘Milenge Milenge’ had top stars Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur but could not attract audiences towards theatres.

The industry observers feel that this happened due to the long time that film took in its production.Unfortunately, during this time Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur parted ways and this too worked against the film. Even then Boney Kapoor could have hoped for a miracle if lead stars (Kareena-Shahid) had agreed to promote the flick before its release.

But nothing of the sort happened and they flatly refused to help the beleaguered filmmaker in recovering its cost. As far as, ‘Red Alert’ is concerned, it was a hard- hitting flick without any glamour quotient(by very nature of the subject) to it, as most of the film had been shot in a Maoist camp in the jungles of Andhra Pradesh.
