Tom Cruise financed sister's education with first pay

Hollywood star Tom Cruise says he used the money from his first big acting assignment to pay for one of his sisters college education. The 47-year-old star, who has three sisters, says he decided to spend the money by splashing out thousands on his sisters, People magazine reported.
"I paid for one of my sisters' college education. And my little sister worked for me when I had a paper route; I always told her I'd pay her back. I bought her a car after Risky Business he said. Cruise's film Knight and Day co-starring Cameron Diaz is releasing in India on July 9.
