Okay, so Fox Star Studios’ Knight and Day boasts of the exciting Hollywood pair of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. But that’s not the only attraction of this film.

In the movie, Tom Cruise plays Roy Miller, a covert agent, while Cameron Diaz is June Havens, a woman caught between him and those he claims set him up.

After a chance encounter with Roy on a plane, June finds herself being pursued around the globe in the company of a possibly unstable, yet decidedly alluring secret agent.

As their globe-trotting adventure erupts into a maze of double-crosses, close escapes, false identities, and head-spinning romantic snafus, they come to realise that all they can count on is each other.

“Knight and Day has everything I love in movies. What interested me so much about the story of Roy and June is that everything that happens to them happens through the prism of action,” says Tom Cruise.

The minute June and Roy meet, the film picks up an exhilarating pace, sending them on a journey around the world, making stops in Boston, New York, the Alps, Austria, Spain and the tropical Caribbean. Director James Mangold explains, “We wanted it to be beautiful and glamourous and feel like a whirlwind trip around the world. It gives the film a feeling of wish-fulfilment for the audience, of going to places you’ve never seen, and feeling like you’re really there.”

Cameron Diaz adds, “I’ve been making movies for 15 years, and I’ve never jumped from location to location like this.
